Community website for Clunbury Parish

Haven't posted since the meeting on Nov.5th because I have been busy learning how to use Wordpress. Results so far can be seen at http://theparishpost.org. I chose that domain name because some other folks are starting a printed Parish newsletter called The Parish Post and the idea is for the website to compliment the paper version.

Shropblog web search

If I search for "Shropblog" on Google this site dosn't come up! It's only if i enter the full title "shropblog.ning.com" in the address bar that you go direct to this site. So like the login - you have to be precise unless you are using a link from elsewhere.

Gmail login

My experience with the gmail login is the same. So as with all e-mail address logins you have to enter your details exactly as first registered or else you get nowhere. That`s the frustrating thing about computers ; If you dont hit the right buttons - nothing happens!

Gmail login

On signup my email address was entered as a Gmail address. If I try to login as Googlemail (which I normally use) ning won't accept it. Google seems to accept either but ning does not. Beware.
